The Casbah ''Agadir Oufella''
The Casbah or Kasbah Agadir (Agadir Called Oufella in tachelhit, that is to say Agadir d'en Haut) is the most majestic of the city. This is a fortress overlooking the city and the beach and culminating at a height of 236 meters. It overlooks the ocean over 216 m on the heights of Oufella, offering a magnificent view over the city, the bay and the hinterland. Agadir Oufella was erected in 1540 by Mohammed Ech-Cheikh, Moroccan King Saadienne belonging to the dynasty. Having conquered the city, it built these walls in order to protect any particular Portuguese invasions.
The site was rebuilt in 1752 to increase the security of Agadir. After the 1960 earthquake, the fortifications were rebuilt on their old marks and only the front door was kept in the authentic.
During their stroll, visitors will not forget that this fortress has shut the oldest district of Agadir, at the time composed of small alleys and playful residents. Its walls and the front door were restored while the remains of this ancient fortress was transformed into a necropolis. It is reached by a road with a magnificent view.
The location is ideal to admire the city from all angles and the sunsets!

A delight for lovers of exotic birds from South America or Asia who thrive in an environment successfully reconstituted and alongside local wildlife animals like sheep to headlines and Barbary apes.
Agadir Medina
The medina is also a tribute to artisans and artists from the region. Young people exercising in the 25 workshops of the medina is a continuation of the regional tradition: potters, carpenters, fitters zelliges, ironworkers, etc. Located in the eucalyptus forest between Agadir Inezgane, the medina Polizzi offers visitors dining areas and shops.
Souk El Had
This is the main place of supply of the inhabitants of Agadir for food, clothing, the current equipment. There are also many handcrafted items. On Saturday and Sunday market days, Souk El Had takes more imposing dimensions.
The Souk is a big market, it has approximately 6000 small shops. It is surrounded by ramparts and has several entries. It is organized into different sectors: furniture, crafts, clothes, vegetables, beef, spices ... We can find little marvels, including all kinds of traditional decorations ...
The garden of Olhao
In this museum, the highlights of the city (construction, destruction, reconstruction) are exposed through a series of photographs, stamps and newspapers. It is located near the French Institute of Agadir.

The ports

The commercial port is surrounded by warehouses, canning and freezing factories. The external trade are mainly composed of fruits and vegetables and minerals.
The fishing port is based mainly on fishing for sardines. During your visit to the station smells ... you are warned!
To compensate for this inconvenience and stay in the heart of the discovery, each afternoon the fishermen propose a sale by auction to taste their latest trophies!
For the less daring, many restaurants have flourished sardine near the port.

The Natural Park of Souss-Massa
The park is the ideal place for the reconstitution of herds mhorr dama gazelle, oryx, ostrich and of adax for their reintroduction into the wild. It is home to many species of birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians, fish and butterflies. But the species most famous is the bald ibis, since the park is home to the largest colony of this species in the world. Wetlands mouths of Souss and Massa are located within the park and are of international importance for migratory birds tourist exploitation and discover nature areas. You can observe birds whose numbers Bald Ibis (Geronticus eremita) remains the most remarkable element of this avifauna.
